StatFest: September 18 - 19
"StatFest is a conference aimed at encouraging undergraduate students who are members of historically underrepresented groups to pursue careers and graduate studies in the statistical sciences."
The two-day conference will include presentations from professionals in academia, industry, and government, and current graduate students. There will also be panel discussions where attendees can learn more about pursuing graduate school, career pathways in academia, industry, and government, along with other topics about life as a statistician and data scientist. Dr. Loni Philip Tabb, Associate Professor of Epidemiology & Biostatistics at Drexel University, will deliver the keynote address.

eUSR: November 6
"The Electronic Undergraduate Statistics Research Conference (eUSR), is a free online conference where undergraduate statistics & data science students present their work, learn more about careers in statistics & data science, and acquire valuable information about applying to, and succeeding in, graduate school. "
The one-day conference will include presentations from professionals in academia, industry, and government, along with current graduate students and winners of the Undergraduate Statistics Class Project and Undergraduate Statistics Research Project competitions. There will be panel discussions about graduate school and careers in statistics and data science and a competition for the Best Video Presentation. Gabriela de Quieroz, Sr. Engineering & Data Science Manager at IBM, will deliver the keynote address.
Undergraduate students who have conducted research in statistics can submit an abstract and video presentation for the competition. Abstracts will be accepted on a rolling basis until October 21, and videos must be uploaded by October 23.
